A letter from the Fellowship Programs Director
A very warm welcome to the Indiana University Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences fellowship programs website!
Our Department offers several fellowship programs as seen in the next tab "Available Fellowships." Our ACGME accredited fellowships are Pediatric Radiology, Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and Neuroradiology. Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) sponsored fellowship programs include Pediatric Neuroradiology, Advanced Neuroradiology, Head and Neck Radiology, Breast Imaging, Musculoskeletal, Cardiothoracic, Abdominal Imaging and two recently GME-approved fellowships: Trauma and Emergency Radiology and Body Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
The vast array of leading edge technology, world renowned radiologists, physicians, interdepartmental conferences, collegiality and diverse array of cases make fellowship training at IU truly competitive and exciting.
In keeping with the tradition of excellence in education at IUSM, our fellowship training programs build on the knowledge acquired during residency and prepare fellows to be expert sub-specialists. At the completion of training our fellows are ready for independent practice in either academic or private practice settings.
Given our strong infrastructure, dedication to research, and education, a second year of fellowship training may be tailored to individual needs.
Please look for the tab "How to Apply" on the right side of our fellowship pages website. We invite you to submit your application after exploring sections of interest on our website. If you have additional questions, please contact our fellowship programs office at 317-944-1816.
